today i started reading this new book called "sam's letters to jennifer" by james patterson. i haven't finished it yet but so far, it seems very similar to the notebook. what first caught my eye about this book is that the cover reminds me alot of the notebook's cover or what it should have been (a lake with a crane flying). the notebook uses a unique way of telling the story using letters that the characters have written. well (as u can see from the title), this book uses the same format. its also a tearjerker book. basically its about a womens realationship with her grandmother. the grandmother is sick and is in a coma and the women finds a bunch of letters in the grandmothers house that are addressed to her. she reads them and finds out about her grandmothers secrets and her love life. it's a page turner and i recommend this if anyone's intrested. also, it came out this week so it might be sold out, get it while its still on shelves.

I got a copy of this book yesterday. I'd read Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas. It was a page turner. I wasn't able to set the book down until my mind cannot register anymore words from sleepiness. But it was good. The hardcover edition of Sam's Letters to Jennifer was 30% off at Borders. So... I got it for a cheap price . But... when I was reading this book, I thought Sam would be a male character. I was confused at first until I finally realized Sam was the grandmother. ;D A bit baffled for a while. James Patterson is a good writer and seems like this book will be a page turner, too.
