If you cried during the book...when did you start? For me, it was reading the letter that got me going...I was a bloody wreck, haha. All the letters made me cry

hah it was the same for me, although I didnt cry quite as much during the book since I saw the movie 3 time before I read it, but the letter(the one I posted) was where I first started crying and then from then on I cried for every letter

[glow=blue,2,300]The first time I read the book was over three years ago. I was in Spanish class, trying to finish the last few chapters, and I wanted to break down into tears, but I was trying so hard to keep my composure and fight off crying...haha, I remember thinking that I was a big dork. I just read it again, and I think I got a little teary at the beginning, when Noah's just basically setting the scene and going to Allie's room...I might have gotten a little emotional during some of the flashback sequence, but I don't remember if I actually cried...but as soon as it flashed back to the present day, with Noah and Allie in the nursing home, I started bawling and didn't stop until the end. This time, I was at my summer job (nobody else was around), and I could let it all out...yeah, the letters especially got to me, but the whole thing is incredibly emotional for me. I'm a sappy girl.
