LoL, the interview if u clicked the rachel mcadams link from Chris Pines thing was soo cute, an funnie too!! i'll post it here to make it easier! enjoy!
While she won't admit to having a boyfriend, 25-year-old Canadian actress, Rachel McAdams has been in love. "I think you can experience it more than once," she says. "[Love] is such an intangible thing. I have been through it before and I'll go through it again." She certainly got a good dose of it while filming the upcoming love story, The Notebook, based on the tearjerker novel by Nicholas Sparks. "I cried while doing it," says the sappy Scorpio. "It just takes me so long to get over a sad movie. Like, weeks later I'll be like, 'Oh god! That movie killed me!'" That's exactly what will happen to anyone who sees The Notebook, which also stars newcomer Ryan Gosling and veteran actors James Garner and Gena Rowlands. In it Rachel plays a completely different character, to whom she relates to more than Mean Girls's Regina George. "In terms of [Allie's] spirit, I like to think I still have that naiveté about life; that true love is possible, and dreams do come true. All that gooey stuff." We caught up with this rising starlet to discuss The Notebook, as well as her take on fashion, boys and her love for ice-skating. By Sara Lieberman
From Geekdom to Stardom When Rachel took the role of the very popular Regina George in Mean Girls, she had a lot of work cut out for her. "I was not popular in high school," insists the beautiful, 5-foot-4 stunner. "I know every actress says that, but really, I was a big geek." But by playing the "Queen Bee" of North Shore High School, Rachel got to experience high school all over again -- and from a whole new perspective. "With all those mini-skirts, I had to shave my legs everyday. couldn't even get away with a couple days stubble!" she giggles. Sigh. The detriments of becoming popular and pretty!
Ice, Ice, Baby. When it came to performing as a child, Rachel's first love was figure skating. "I loved figure skating," she says. That's what you do in Canada! We have a plethora of ice, so we might as well use it," she jokes. But in all seriousness, skating was something Rachel thought she'd pursue professionally. "I did [compete] for a while, but it became too hard on my nerves," she says. "I found I couldn't take the pressure." After skating for over 14 years, Rachel decided to pursue acting as a career by joining the conservatory program at York University in Toronto, where she eventually graduated with a Bachelor's degree in theater arts.
Small town girl. Mean Girls is the type of film that's sure to become a classic like Heathers or Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. But for Rachel, who grew up in a small town outside of Toronto, her fave classic movie quickly became Goonies. TV, however, is a different story. In fact, she didn't know much about Mean Girls' writer/director and SNL funny lady Tina Fey because she doesn't watch too much of the boob tube. "When I first read the script, I was like, 'Wow! Who wrote this?'" she says. "I thought it was so great and then I found out it was Tina." Since Rachel worked with other SNL cast members like Rob Schneider in The Hot Chick, she knew she was in for a month's worth of giggles. And they seem to agree with her. Rachel recently began filming a hilarious new comedy called The Wedding Crashers, which features Starsky & Hutch co-stars Vince Vaughan and Owen Wilson.
Goldi-red-brown-blonde-locks. Rachel's hair is naturally brown, or rather "mousy brown", but it's been through many a revolution. "Oh my god, I love to play around with my hair. It's seen nothing but dye," she says enthusiastically. "I'm three-toned right now because I've been trying to grow out the strawberry blonde from The Notebook, and then I dyed it a dark brown, and then I bleached it blonde for Mean Girls!" Although her hairstyles are all over the place, her fashion sense is certainly up to snuff. Rachel, who has a sock fetish, classifies her personal style as classic punk. "I'll put on a punk rock T-shirt, a '50s style skirt and a pair of flip-flops. I like to mesh a whole bunch of things together." She can also appreciate classy, period clothes like the ones she wore in The Notebook. "There's nothing like a period dress to make you feel like a woman," she sighs. "There's something about those clothes that just automatically gives you good posture and makes you glow a little bit." Well, whether it's the clothes or not, her glow is sure to be noticed.
lol, shes so cute
